what do you guys think of having little showers for each other?

maybe it would be nice to have a little something for each other during out get togethers.

we could confirm attendance and then have a grab bag type of deal- we start with 1/1/06 and work our way forward from there

or something. kind of like a secret santa.

I mean, nothing big- since we are scraping to pay for our own, but I am not against picking up a soap dish for one of you off your registry!

I just feel like we are so involved with each others planning...it would be like celebrating with each other...

I love it Jess! I think it's great!! Just don't have a GTG the weekend of January 15th... I am a little busy!

I think it's a great idea but can be tough to do. I organized a whole secret santa thing once and then my person decided not to participate and I ended up with nothing! I was really disappointed and I'm always a lil hesitant about doing them now!!

I dunno about getting something off the registry, since people might not want to share their real names. Plus, not every one can make all of the GTGs.

But I certainly love the idea of a lil something around the holidays!! It'll be our last GTG in December, while we're still single, b4 we all go off and get hitched!!!

Since everyone is already spending a fortune, I think that it would be cool if we did a secret santa kind of thing. It's def. and idea to consider.

I like it a lot. I never get sick of opening presents!!!!

I think this is a cute idea... I think we should simplify and so no one gets jipped (sp?) maybe we can bring the gift we purchased to the GTG and that way everyone will show up with a gift and we can randomly choose from all the gifts that day.... We can have people pick numbers from a basket randomly and that will be the order in which we choose...we did something like this at our christmas party at work and it worked out good.... just some ideas!!

this is a better plan, i think. this way no one will be left out. I think we should think about it for the beginning to middle of November, before holiday madness kicks in- then soon after, the weddings begin!
