what do you guys think of this dress - honestly...do you think the bottom of the skirt is too much with all of the beading on the top etc? Im dead set on getting a mermaid gown - ive tried on a bucnh but haven't found THE ONE.

the pouff makes the dress! I am trying to get a mermaid style dress for my bridesmaids but dont want it too tight.. the pouff takes the eyes off the top and makes it DIFFERENT.
I personally if had the body would 110% get a dress like this.

i LOVE it, i think the dress is hot....i love mermaid dresses - but it looks like it might be hard to dance in.....it is BEAUTIFUL though!!

It's very pretty but looks hard to walk and sit down in. That was my experience with most of the mermaid gowns I tried on. I bought a trumpet style dress, which has the same shape but is a little more roomy.

It is VERY trendy, incorporating many details that are currently fashionable--gathers and ruching, mermaid with a wide bottom flare (although conceptually mermaids themselves are retro, the wide flare seems to be very in right now), pickups, and the combination of two different skirt styles.

I'm short so it definatly wouldn't look right on me..but It's a beautiful dress!!
Another thing to keep in mind is that it might be kind of hard to dance in a mermaid style dress...
Either way..go try it on!! You have nothing to loose!!
