We are either doing wine or something edible, most people don't use the favors but they will always drink or eat something

I am a bit stumped too because I don't like the typical favors, but do want to give something, and not something crazy expensive!! Whatever it is will be one per couple or single guest, and I'm thinking I'll box them and make them the placecards . . . . I liked that idea alot when I saw it on here.
Any ideas are welcome . . . .

It's so funny because my Mom mentioned this, and I LOVE the idea, but if we put the music that reflects the FH and I it would be Led Zeppelin and old-school rap, which I'm not sure the older folks would like . . . . . Mom was like 'um, no, maybe that's not such a good idea' hehehehe. I would love to get a CD at a wedding, and it's so affordable and personalized, FH and I might just have to suck it up and put 'nice' songs on there . . . . we'll leave Scarface off . . . . .

I was thinking of doing black and white cookies since i have a black and white themed wedding. either the minis in little boxes or the reg sized ones wrapped with a sticker with our names and date. still working on those details......oh yeah have to figure out where to get them too lol thats kinda important

i got little champaigne glasses that i'm putting navy and white sunny seeds in tulle maybe something with it possibly a donation to the USO too or something for military families i'm going to try to attatch a picture of my sample favor.... i'd make them all now but who wants year old sunny seeds

Since tiffany blue is my color I was thinking of putting a candy or treat inside tiffany colored boxes wrapped with ribbon. Like this.
I'm having a black and white wedding as well and was also thinking of black and white cookies and then maybe a little something else, but we'll see!!

I'm stupmed on this too!
I like the candy bar with personalized label, but i want them to have something to keep. I like the little candle holder with our names and date on it. I also thought about the ice cream scoop because we're having an ice cream sundae bar. I really want to get something disney related to reflect our theme- but I don't want to spend a fortune either.
All suggestions welcomed!

We are debating about going very simple with matchboxes but if we do a favor I like the coasters that you can put pictures in. I figured its practical but still cute. Plus I LOVE pictures

i want to do mini black and whites now too. there are my favorite food! my parents brought 4 doz. up to boston from LI to my e-party yum!
I was planning on doing silver luggage tags since everyone will be oot and its useful.
maybe now ill do mini cookies in a box wrapped with pretty ribbon and a luggage tag on top! perfect.
also doing sandalwood fans, and candy bar.

If you want to do wine you should go to Trader Joe's in the city... $3.00 for a regular bottle of Charles Shaw (lots of different wines) and its pretty decent. I did them for my eparty.
For the wedding we're doing lots of little favors. Mini pumpkin placecards, caramel apples, mascarade masks and a huge candy bar! Plus I'm in love with Barbie's mini cheesecakes from her eparty so I might have to add that too!
