What do you ladies think?

So i'm currently working on my monogram! I'm going to give you a lil background on why I chose to create this design. Well being that my wedding is close to 5 de Mayo! I wanted to incorporate my mexican culture along with the 5 de Mayo theme. So traditionally in mexico when there are festivals and big parties the 'papel picado' is something that is often use to hang up as decorations. Like this picture below ..

So I wanted to incorporate the pattern of the papel picado in my monogram and this is what I came up with. What do you ladies think?? My colors are pink and grey so that is why the monogram is grey right now but I can definently incorporate some pink in it too. This is just the design itself..

Thats really pretty! I would definately incorporate the pink into it for some color!

Thanks .. I am definently going to. I just made it one color for now to see how the design would look.

Thanks ladies for your feedback. It's something new and different and I never even thought of going in this direction. But, i'm starting to love the idea more and more.

Judy,

I love them. I see your colors are grey and pink, if you do the lighter pink, maybe the writing can be the lighter pink and thev background can stay as is.

Thanks!!!! Yea I was thinking of that too. Incorporating the Pink in the writing! I'm going to keep working on it and see the different color combo's I come up with using the pink and grey colors.

WOW!! I think that is so great!! So creative and I love how it ties in to your culture and theme!! I was close to booking a 5/4 wedding myself!
