You need your birth certificate, and it has to have the raised seal....and a second form of ID (I guess like a driver's license...we used our passports).
It was scary, because FI had no idea where his birth certificate was, so we had to rush order it...thank god we got it in time!

Oh, I guess it depends what Town you get the marriage license from. Town of Brookhaven requires the Birth Certificate in addition to the passport/or driver's license.

I got mine this morning at the Queens Courthouse. I needed one form of ID (either a license, Birth certifcate or passport) and a $35.00 money order.

60 days (town of brookhaven...don't know if it's different somewhere else, I don't think it would be)
