What do you not like about your hall?

Agreed, although we will have a new (big) bridal suite!!! Should be done soon.

I like my hall I think the only thing would be that it would have more of an outside ground to take pictures but other then that I love my hall

well we're in the hall choosing process.

The only thing that's holding me back from booking our #1 choice is that it's 40 minutes west of my house, and most of my family lives 25 minutes east of me!

If we do end up booking there, I'll have to check with the churches in the area to see if any of them will marry us, instead of traveling from my home church (which i'm not fond of). PLUS my FH teaches right around the corner from the hall, so we could snap a pic or 2 in front of his school

Try St. Catherine of Sienna. That' a great church (FH and I go there sometimes). The only thing is that for Sunday weddings (i don't know what day you want) you need to bring in your own priest or something..

It is under construction and I wont see it finished until September. I know it will be fine for my February wedding, but there are things like decorations/flowers that I cannot envision without knowing what the place will look like. I have seen the floor plans and new materials so I know what it will look like more or less but at least everything will be brand spanking new! No need to cover chairs or worry about things that may be worn out. My nephew's Bar Mitzvah is in the same location in November so I'll have a tasting and a look-see before hand as I secretly take notes so my sister doesn't know!

The fact that it has these tacky 70's lightbulb light running across the ceiling...might ask them to keep it turned off for the evening and use the other lights...also I wish the dance floor was a little bigger-Im having a wild crowd that is ALREADY talking about dancing the night away...other than that everything is great! I can't wait!

My hall has many things I love and some things like paintings and tapestries on the wall which I hate.
It is a great hall for a small wedding like ours!

I wish the cocktail hour room was more updated and that you couldn't see the parking lots from the dock but all in all I love it!

The only thing I wish was that the parking lot wasn't shared with the hotel -

there is one main entrance and if you go to the left is the counrty club and the right is the hotel - but i will deal cause the inside is perfect

Which room at WM has that? I dont remember seeing those lights.
