What do you NOT want to hear at your wedding?

Original post by nferrandi

I know you could all list tons of them, but what is the ONE song you least want to hear at your wedding? For me it's The Electric Slide! It reminds me of high school cheerleading! lol!

I'm with you, except that since I'm having about 10 children at the reception ranging in age from 1 to 11, I think I'm gonna have to give them the hokey pokey.

At Last. Now, I know that alot of peole are using this as their wedding song. I want to say that I do like the song, but I hear it almost every night sung by a woman that just irritates the hell out of me. Therefore I have a sense memory associated with that song and it cannot be played at my wedding. I do not want to think about this person on my wedding day.

We're having a band - so I hope that will cut down on the cotton eye joe, macarena, etc., but if people request it then I'm ok with it - we only have one must do not play - nothing by Clay Aiken!

If I hear Last Dance, the Electric Slide or New York, New York at my wedding I'm going to go postal.

I keep telling my fiance' that I'm going to request 'If you wanna be happy'. He says no.

For those of you unfamiliar, it goes like this:
'If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life,
Never make a pretty woman your wife,
So from my personal point of view,
Get an ugly girl to marry you...'

Has a great beat and I think it would be kind of funny. I can be a little masochistic like that.
