I prefer flats. I am 5'10', thats one reason. The next is flats are just so much more comfortable for me.

Flats for the comfort. I have back problems, and heels kill my back. I can only wear them on special occassions

I prefer flats. When I have to, I wear heel that are about 2 inches. Any higher and I can't walk in them!!

Well, I have to wear sexy nursing shoes at work but when I'm wearing jeans/pants etc...it's usually boots w/ like a 2inch heel. I'm on the little side-almost 5'4 so I like to appear taller.

Definately flats. I am already about 5'9'. My main reason though is that I must be comfortable and heels don't do it some times.

Heels...(min. 2 inches) usually. I am more comfortable in them than sneakers!!! I am tall too but don't mind the extra inches.
Funny story - I was in my photography studio a couple weeks ago and they lady told me she had the same shoes as me but she had to get rid of them because the heel was too high. I giggled because they were my shoes I wear when I run errands...they are wedges and maybe 1 1/2 - 2 inches.

It used to only be flats until about a year ago and then I wear both but I would prefer a heel now. I broke my foot almost 4 years ago and after that incident I did not trust my feet in heels so I wore flats but now I wear both.

when I wear heels to work I feel like everyone's staring at me...plus it makes me the tallest person in the office, male or female so flats or low heels every day.

I used to wear heels and only heels (even stilletoes when I went out) but lately my feet have started KILLING me. I have flat feet so I think I overcompensate by walking on the outer edges of my feet and that has caused tons of problems in heels. I swear I'll turn into my mother eventually - she of the socks and Birkenstocks.
