I don't know, I avoided the last party I was invited to for the same reason.

Just an update: as soon as I got there one of the women (who is not even on the B list) asked what the date was. I informed her and she immediately said 'omg I have a conflict with another wedding'. She then proceeded to call the groom from the other wedding and comes back to me to tell me..'no worries...his wedding is in Huntington so it's only a ten minute drive...I can do both!!!!'
What???!!! So now you're telling me you are going to come to my wedding (that you're not invited to) and you're going to come late??? I just smiled but all I wanted to say was 'beat it, lady'!!!' Some people just don't get it!

Happens to me all the time..What I do is.. Laugh it off with a comment like 'omg yes me too' & slowly walk away! LOL

Honestly, who cares! My feeling is if someone who I barely talk to or know says something I brush it off and they will obviously get the hint when there is no invite in the mail.
