Do you think it's 'too much' to wear a headpiece AND jeweled hair pins?

Defintiely depends on the headpiece. Maybe you cna post a pic to give us an idea? If the headpaeace is really ornate, the headpins will take away. Or just try it..get some cheap hairpins just to see how it would look before you go to buy expensive ones
