I am going to look at Windows on the Lake this week but my brother was married there 7 years ago. I thought it was very pretty however do you think family will remember from 7 years ago? My younger brother is getting married in Nov 06 at Flowerfeilds so of course I wouldn't do it there 6 months later but I don't know????

Re: What do you think???......
7 years is IMHO plenty of time between weddings to have it at the same place as a family member. Make sure YOU like it.

I agree.
If this is bothering you though, there are SO many beautiful great places on Long Island for weddings that I'm sure you will find one that you love.

I would only do it if you absolutely love the place. If I 'liked' it but wasn't wild about it, I would keep looking.

I am sure that they will remember but who cares? If it was a great place I am sure your guests would love to go there again!

If you really loved it book it. 7 years is a long time. Plus, you have your FH's fam who was never there.
