What do you think?

Ok,
So a pastor (which knows my FH's grandma) is going to marry us for FREE...which I think is fantastic being that he doesnt know me or my FH that well. Ok here is my question. I plan on giving a donation to the church but how much should I give? What is appropriate. P.S. he actually said that he doesnt think its right to charge to people who are in love to get married. What should I tip?

The Reverend who is marrying us is charging $500.00. So if you make a donation make it $150.00 to the church and $150.00 for him. If you are just going to tip him alone then give him $250.00. That's what I would do considering that some want even more than $500.
