My Dad passed away in April so a very good friend of mine is giving me away and I will dance with him at the reception to something that has to do with us, then FH will dance with his Mom and then we were thinking of having the dj announce that we would like everyone to join us on the dance floor in memory of our fathers-we're going to play a Dean Martin song since both of our fathers liked him.
Wanted to mention our fathers in some way but didn't want to have a heart-wrenching song about my Dad when I dance with my friend because I think it would be too painful for everyone.

That sounds like a beautiful idea. I wanted to try and incorporate FH's deceased parents into the wedding somehow but he doesnt even like to talk about them when I bring up wedding stuff Maybe Ill have a few pics put up or have them in the baby pics...
