what do you think?

so i am getting married at the fox hollow and when i was last there they told me that i could get ready at the inn (they gave me a comp room).with that being said i figured that if we are getting ready there we dont need limoes, this will cut out like a $1000 expense(i have a huge bridal party) n e way i was talking to one of my bridesmaids and she is like well how do u expect everyone to get to LI? i told her everyone has a car except you and we can all car pool, i mean i dont think i am being unreasonable but she is making a huge dael about this.

would you still get a limo even though you wont use it to take pics or anything? just curious

Definitely Not, We are getting ready at the reception hall, taking pictures before the ceremony, and everyone has a car, so I don't see what the big deal is, she can definitely get a ride with someone...

We are going to have an old fashioned car and maybe like a hummer limo only because of the photo ops. It's an unnecessary expense and if we had a room right next door, there is no way I would have agreed to them.

I'm getting married at my RH but getting dressed at my house so I am getting one limo for 3hrs to make two dropoffs. If I was getting ready at my RH I definitely would not get limos. It would save a lot of money.

Since, I am getting ready at home and the church is literally a 2 minute drive from my house. FH and I agreed that only I would get a limo to take me and my parents to the church and then take FH and I to the reception hall.

I told that to my Matron of Honor and she looked at me like hello what about a limo for the bridal party, I was like you guys have cars, you can drive them. The wedding is about me and FH not the bridal party. We would be saving at least $500.

I'm getting limos just because Its easier than having everyone figure out who's cars to take. Also, all of the bridal party will have guests meeting them at the RH and they will have their cars there. Don't want couples to have two cars to drive home.

I wouldn't bother with the limos. Arent they going to need their cars for the next day or later on in the night to get home anyway?

no way, she needs to calm down and deal, unless she wants to pay for own limo

You absolutely don't need a limo. We are getting a limo, but it's not going to pick the girls up at their houses. I am getting ready at my grandma's...they are going to meet me there. FH is getting ready at a hotel, and he is going to be driven by his parents. It's definitely a needless expense.

I will be getting ready at the Inn at Fox Hollow, not getting limo's, I don't see the need for the expense of a limo. If we do another block elsewhere, we may need a shuttle, but not limo's

thanks for the reassurance. i started to second guess the idea but it will become an expense that i could live without.

I am not doing limos either. We all have cars and it is saving us a lot of money!!

i think you are definitely in the right to not get the limo..especially if you arent using it!!!

Re: what do you think?

You are definitely right. There is no need for limos.

I am in a wedding in August and she is getting ready at the place so all the bridesmaids, including myself, plan on driving in our own cars to the RH that morning. And no one has a problem with this.
