Should i wear stockings or no?

not for fashion reasons, but for comfort reasons I would. Sling backs tend to dig into your heel if you do not have hose.

With sling-backs yes I would. By the end of the night, constant rubbing will give you blisters if nothing is there to protect your skin.

My feet are always more comfortable in stockings, so for me I would say yes. But I think with slingbacks its fine to go either way - I've seen girls with and without them. CONGRATS on your wedding and best of luck. Best wishes for the happiest day of your life.

jenn, if you decide to go with stockings, Century 21 in Westbury has DKNY & CK (& others) for great prices. They fit alot better than the drug store ones, and are more durable & provide more support for your skin to protect it from the shoes.

JennBaby, I wore stockings with my slingbacks and I think they were more comfortable that way. Good luck on Saturday (I am DLWDLG's MOH)

For comfort reasons yes. You're gonna be walking around, standing and its going to be a long day you want to be comfortable.
Without them you'll get blisters. and that is a major OUCH!!!

I agree with slingbacks, yes stockings. Although I just hate wearing pantyhose in general-I would wear thigh highs.

I'd wear some thigh highs or something silky! That way I could still feel like a diva, but not have my shoes giving me blisters by dessert. Also, that way I would'nt get too hot dancing, I always find full stockings warm!

I wore slingbacks with stockings. But I had a little problem that I have no idea if it was related. The 'slingback' did not stay up on my heel and I wondered if it was because of the silky stocking? My MOH kept having to bend down to pull the strap back up.
Make sure you have the slingbacks fitted tightly around your ankle.

Jenn! You and I had the same shoes (as you know since I told you where to get them ) and I wore pantyhose since it was October. But I agree with the girls, you don't want the slingback cutting your heel up while you cut up the dance floor!
