i have had meeting with 4 photographers...and 2 of them have said the phrase...'well nothing really happens after you cut the cake' um really? cuz i'm pretty sure there is still some time left at your wedding after you cut the cake. EVERYONE doesn't leave right after you cut the cake. i plan on partying and dancing until the very last minute of my reception and the photographer better be there till the very end too!
what do you girls think about that comment the photographer said?

The party goes on till its over....what was the comment for anyway? Were they planning on not taking anymore pics after the cake cutting?

no i think it was b/c i asked how many hours they would be there for.
IMO... I wouldn't go with a photographer that said that. I would want them to be there start to finish. While I agree with Sarah theres only so many dance floor pics you can get.. you dont want them to miss anything either.
For example at my friends wedding her brother started singing into a fork and dancing all over the place it was hilarious but how upsetting would it have been if the photographer didnt capture that.

i personally would not go with that photographer either! you want someone that is happy to be there and capture every moment!
my photographer said he is willing to stay extra time at no cost
you want someone who is on your side, willing to help you capture the moments

They should plan to be taking pictures until the lights go up! I wouldn't feel comfortable with a photographer that said that either.
