if you want a pink dress you should do it!!!! the day is suppose to be all about you and your fh and what you want!!!!!!
If that's very YOU like it was Gwen Stefani, then I say go for it. But if it's not really you where people will be like Yeah, that makes sense, I think you'll regret it later. Maybe you could get a white/ivory gown and then half way through the reception, change to a pink one. OR there are places that sell the tulle underskirt in really cool colors like red, blue, pink and then you can get really cool shoes. I don't know what those places are but a friend of the friend did that and it was a very cool effect.
