What do you think about reply postcards?

The place where I purchased my invites has reply postcards as an option instead of the regular reply card and envelope. What are your thoughts on these? I went with the reply card and envelope but I thought these were kinda cool. Do you think they are less formal?

i think they're cute... i had a friend who did this and some older people put the postcard in an envelope, put a stamp on the envelope and returned it, which totally defeats the purpose of the postcard idea!!!
