I heard on the news this morning that a mother had a stripper at her teenage son's birthday party. A year later she was arrested and is facing criminal charges.
She says the other parents knew about it.
They had taken pictures and the photo lab reported her.
What do you think?

um... In 2001, in Chappaqua (westchester), parents had PROSTITUTES at a football party so that they boys could 'release tension' before the big game. It was the neighbor of my college roomie.... some people are SICK.

The reasoning the mother had was that it is like a rated R movie- you can go and sit with your child and watch it...or you can buy them a ticket and let them go themselves- HUH????

I remember one of my friends had a stripper come in for her 16th birthday. He walked in & said I hope you girls are actually 18!

Do strip clubs? Or watching strippers? I was under the belief that there is a specific age for which this is allowed...period....parent or not Ex. like drinking

I would never do that ...as a parent your Supposed to teach your Kids Morels! What parent hires a stripper for there son or Daughter for that matter ...and if you want to do that for your kid that one thing what about all the other kids that are there did you ask there parents -

First of all that is just dumb and completely inappropriate on the mother's part (and other parents for letting their kids go). Second of all, wouldn't you feel kinda creepy watching a stripper that your mom got for you?

i think its a lot of 'look how hip we are son, have a stripper.' type of thing so kids don't think their parents are lame. well our parents are lame, they will alwys be lame and thats all there is to say.

that is ridiculous! What is wrong with some parents? I wonder if the parents stayed and watched the stripper too, how awkward to watch a stripper with your mom! Some moms and their sons just have WEIRD relationships

OH- from what I understood from the conersation THE MOM was there and the dad came home but knew nothing about it until he got home and he was shocked- but basically ok with it

he was only 14 imo a bit young ! its one thing for a teenage kid to sneak around and search for stuff like this, but for the parents to provide it...Inappropriate!
