when you are on birth control you are able to skip a period just by skipping the sugar pills and starting a new pack, so what if you take the sugar pills before you are suppose to, does that mean that you can get your period sooner then you should?
Just asking because i checked to see if i would be getting my period for my wedding day and it looks like i will be getting it, and i dont want to skip it cuz when i did that one other time, the next month i got it for 2 weeks....which stinks.
What do you think ladies?

seasonal will make you spot A LOT inbetween periods. I dont recommend it. I would honestly call your doctor but they maybe not help you. I kinda feel it irresponsible to offer medical advice that could really screw up your menstral cycle on here so seriously call you doctor tell them and BE HONEST and they can probably help you to change your cycle alittle under supervision

Same here. I never had a problem with skipping a week. I used to mess around with it all the time, though that's probably not too good to do all the time without talking to your doc... but everyone's body reacts differently.
I also take Seasonale now, and like it a lot.
Talk to your doctor and see what s/he says. They are pretty understanding about things like this usually!

I think it really depends on your particular body. I don't have any problems with spotting with Seasonale. The only time I had spotting (and it was extremely light) was the first pack of pills.
As long as I'm consistent with the times I take the pill each day, I don't have a problem... but again, everyone's body is different, so it's hard to know unless you try it.
I completely agree that it's best to call your doc and not rely on what you read here. All the conflicting information already just proves that point even more!

Re: what do you think about this?
Have you thought of switching to NuvaRing? ? I have been on it for 7 months now and LOVE it ! ! ! I say this for a bunch of reasons. . . . . .
It's low hormones (while this doesn't effect your chances of getting / not getting pregnant, it is better for your body over all)
You put it in, 'forget' about it, and take it out. There is no remembering to do anything but that. I hated taking the pill because no matter what time I set myself to take it I would usually forget (hence the reason I have my daughter ! ! )
When I first started it I calculated when I was going to have AF around the wedding. Well, I was set to get it the day after my wedding, and I was NOT having that. So what I did (of course with my doctors 'blessing') was instead of taking it out on the 21st day, I would wait till the 23rd or 24th (you are still protected by NuvaRing for up to 28 days) Then a week later I would put a new one in. The next month I would do the same thing. With in 4 months I was on a schedule for my wedding that I liked. I will have AF the week before the wedding, start a new ring 6 days before my wedding, and then finish it a few days after coming back from my HM.
I did not have any effects from changing it around like that. AF did not last any longer, and I didn't cramp up at all. My Dr. said that it was perfectly okay to do it the way I did it.
Oh, one more thing. I didn't gain any weight when I started NuvaRing. I haven't had any side effects at all.
Sorry so long, and sorry if you didn't want to hear any of this ! ! ! !
