Me and my FH 'discussed' cakes last night. Very serious subject for us. We have no idea about fillings but we wanted to decide the outside. We want it to look like the one on the left with the glittery ribbon and pearls and verrrrrrrry smooth fondant but with a deep purple (same as BM's dresses) fondant bow (like the pic on the right). I hope it comes out right! I'm very nervous about it!
And...for your enjoyment, my FH and I continued our 'agreement' phase and chose a couch. Who knew it takes 8 - 10 weeks to come in? It's from lazboy and has a sleeper, recliner and a chaise! It's soooo comfy and it was a great price! We got it in this configuration! I love the chaise!

hey got a simialr couch and yes they take stupid 8-10 weeks
about the cake i think the one on the right would look cool with your colors.

eta: I do agree with PC that the cake on the right would look fantastic, but the cake on the left with the ribbon on the right would give the best of both worlds. you have JUST enough embellishment to compliment your theme and keep your fh happy!

As I said to you before, LOVE your idea for the cake!!! I think it is a perfect combo!!
As for the couch, I have the same one just has two-toned middle section with beige & green! Definately comfy & it surely does take 8-10 weeks!!!!
