What do you think about tweed?

What do you think about tweed?

We are getting this chair for our living room. As for the fabric I found a tweed that is really pretty and looks great with the couch fabric.

But, is tweed too trendy? I love it now but will I hate it in a few years? I don't know what to do because I Really do love it.

I would go for it. You are not as likely to get tired of a chair as you are a sofa. Its just not as big a piece. IMHO Tweed is timeless.
