What do you think is a reasonable price?

for girls attending a bachelorette party to have to contribute? if it includes everything like the entertainment whatever that might be, food and alcohol for pre-gaming (obviously they would have to buy their own drinks once out)

up to 150 seems reasonable to me

but it all depends on what kind of entertainment that is

Hmm. I've been thinking about the same thing.

A few years ago, for my best friend's, all of us girls in the BP (there were 5 of us) contributed $200, which included dinner and wine before the party, a limo to/from a club in the city, and some kind of drink package that was set up for us at the bar.
eta: The limo dropped every single girl at their home following the party...which was friggin' AWESOME.

I thought that was a great price, given how much we all got out of it. Oh, and our contribution obviously also covered the bride-to-be.

And for my cousin's, which was that same year, it was roughly $100 a girl. It was more casual though - dinner, drinks and the show at Lips, followed by a band at a bar. She didn't have a BP though, so there wasn't a group of girls to kind of 'run' the show.

I'd say no more than $200, especially if it also includes transportation.

$200....I've paid more and I've paid less! The more people the less money pp it is though...I have a bridal party of 11 girls so I'm hoping it will be cheaper for them!!

i think my girls r lookin at about $150 and thats for gas n tolls to get us to CT, hotel room at Foxwoods, dinner, club cover, breakfast, and probably a couple drinks in that too!!

drinking and gambling are extra 'per your discretion' costs...one of my girls dont drink at ALL, some dont gamble, so $150 is the only obligatory cost

No more than $200, and the less the better! They're already spending so much on the wedding and I feel really bad hitting them up for even more money!

Ahh it all depends. I organized 2 bachelorette parties this year. The first one, the bride didnt want strippers - she just wanted a limo to go out and she had like 13 people going - so I only asked for 80 a person. The second party I organized - she wanted strippers, she wanted a limo, but she lived in NJ (and so did most of her guests), and she only had 8 people go - so the strippers and the limo were EXPENSIVE - especially to drive from NJ to NY and back in one night, we needed limo for like 12 hours - and since there were not many girls going - I had to ask for 250 a person. (Not including dinner and drinks)

thanks guys. just trying to get an idea. i agree that at max $200 is reasonable.

my moh and best friend is the best. she is putting everything together and she made a spreadsheet breaking down the costs so everyone knows how she arrived at the final cost per person. people supposedly were not bitchin about the money but saying that they dont understand why its necessary to chip in for alcohol from the start, that everyone should bring. (i took that as them thinking the cost is too high)...but it will come out to the same thing if they bring on their own unless some people plan to skip out on that which isnt right if they plan on partaking in drinks. she didnt tell me the amount but she said its VERY doable. and me and her think exactly the same, i know this means under $200 (especially since weve gone to others together and its around $150-$175 and weve agreed that, thats a fair price). anyway, i know im rambling but thanks for the opinions. btw- she wasnt trying to involve be in any bs, i specifically asked her and made her tell me anything going on with the planning cuz i wanted to help her with dealing with certain people!

ps. they are not hosting the shower, my mom is, i know it doesnt make a huge difference but i would think that saves them a little money, at least
