I don't know either. In my budgeter I budgeted $3pp so that if I'm doing favors that are per couple I can spend about $5.50-6 each favor and if they're per person, $3.

This is a trick question. Are u just saying for one favor? You could get something real cheap (like a placecard frame for $1.25), or something more expensive (like a wine bottle or mikasa vase for $7pp).... or get a couple of little things. I would say that most weddings average anywhere between $3-$7pp. My guestimate.

I think it's really hard to say what the average is, but my guess would be between $3-5. Our favors are about $2.75 each (heart shape bottle stopper and 2 wine glass charms per couple), but we're also having smaller favors throughout, like personalized yarmulkes and tissue packets during the ceremony, slippers for all of the women, and candy bags for each guest to take as they leave. If you add it all together it's more like $5-6 a couple.

I totally agree, favors can be really inexpensive, jordan almonds in tulle, and the price can keep going up. Average is probably 3-5 bucks. I couldn't make up my mind so I decided to bake special wedding cookies and present them in mini gift boxes (with tops) and tie them up with ***** ribbon. Each place setting is getting one and it really makes the table look nice!

We are making a donation instead of flowers and were figuring on $2-3 per person. 200 people adds up quickly!
We are also putting things like 'our wedding CD' in the guest bags.
