What do you think is the most groundbreaking Tv show?

I would really have to say the Cosby Show. It had such a wide appeal and it was on of the first shows that showed a very successful black family. You had never seen a family with a black doctor and lawyer before! And the show was such a big hit among people of all cultures. I think it (hopefully) paved the way for better race relations, because it shattered all of the stereotypes.

I agree too. Also, I would pick 'Will and Grace' because it discusses gay issues.

All In the Family was IMO the most groundbreaking show. It took topics that were taboo before and put them out there for everyone to see. The fact that Archie Buncker was such a biggot and was still loved by so many(of all races) tells me just how many doors that show opened.
