What do you think of my DIY CP's??

hey ladies.... so i have been trying to figure out how i can make the CP that i had envisioned for soo long! this is what i wanted, but it was too small:

i've tried a million different things with larger vases, but nothing worked. so i was inspired by someone.... shoot, i forget who, and this is what i'm doing now:

it's obviously not done, but i was really excited to get your opinions!
