Here are two samples of my menus, the first one has the hearts and our names printed on the vellum, and the second one has the menu printed on the vellum and the hearts and name under.
I am having a problem with the menu on top, because the ink isn't drying!!!
i like the 2nd one because it is easier to read the menu... if you are having an issue with the ink drying what if you print it all on one page, and then just ghost the hearts and your name?? Just a thought...
they look beautiful!!

Looks amazing Katie!! I love the one on the right... Im going to start my menus soon too
ETA: If you're having a problem with the vellum, try Staples, they have a vellum made just for ink jet printers that dries great!
