What do you think of my RSVP card format?

What do you think of my RSVP card format?

PLEASE RESPOND ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 1, 2006

____ OF _____ WILL BE ATTENDING

____ DECLINE WITH REGRETS

We've had some issues in my family with relatives not getting that kids aren't invited... this will pretty much spell it out. I will fill out the second line with the number of people being invited at each address AND I won't have to put 'adult reception' on the reception card because it will be clear on the RSVP card how many people are invited!

i think it's a good idea. i did almost the same thing.

this is what i put on mine:

AS YOU ARE A PART OF OUR LIVES,
PLEASE BE PART OF OUR CELEBRATION.

WE HAVE RESERVED ___ SEAT(S) IN YOUR HONOR.

NAME(S):_____________________

___ I/WE ACCEPT ___ I/WE DECLINE

PLEASE REPLY BY SEPTEMBER 17, 2006
YOU MAY ALSO REPLY VIA EMAIL:

i filled in how many seats. let me just give you a word of advice: be very careful and take your time. you don't want to give an rsvp card with too many seats to the wrong family

you are very welcome.

i gave that advice, because i actually UNSEALED two envelopes because i FREAKED OUT
that might have put the wrong rsvp card for that family

that first lined, tied it back to the wording of the invite.

I think the format is great.

My dad told me something that I would have never thought of in terms of getting back RSVP cards...put the end of the month like September 30 instead of October 1st because sometimes people think they have more time when it's the beginning of the month opposed to the end. I would have never thought of that.

VERY interesting... Yeah, he's right. If they see 'October 1', they may later say, 'I knew it was October, but I thought it was LATER in October!'. No excuse if it's September 30th!

I'm just nervous because my invites are SO not ready to go out yet!!! That would mean only about a 2 week response time for guests!!

I think that would be fine.
