well in the jewish tradition you do not send hand written thank you's... so i am like torn so not sure what to do

well thats the thing some are and some arent... like what do i do write to half and not the other half

I was wondering the same thing...that TY is amazing regardless but I have a little bit of beef with people that don't write personal notes on their thank yous...

One of my close friends sent out pre printed ones and I was borderline insulted...lol

HAHA! A friend of mine did this also but the kicker was we didnt even recieve one AND FH and I were in the bridal party. Her excuse for ours being late was that she wanted to write a little note thanking us in them. Im still waiting for my thank you card 3 years later!

I have one of those...only reason why I knew her late thank yous went out was b/c I sat in the back seat of her car and saw them..she was liek oh you never got one....

She is the same one who never send ty's for bridal shower

How in gods name do you not send TYs for a shower??????????? Some people actually amaze me!

i meant to say pictures... they just send thank yous with no pics... you see it has me all crazy...

we can do something short like an autograph!!

We are doing cards with a printed picture on the front too.

It's a great picture, but I do agree that you should write on the back of the postcard.

I'm really curious though, what is the significance of the Jewish tradition of not hand writing thank yous? Is it supposed to be bad luck or something?

No i corrected myself cause i was busy talking and not paying attention... they dont sent pictures and only write hand written thank you...i am all over today sorry abotu that

Ahhh, ok, thanks for clearing that up. I'm very curious about other customs and had never heard that before.
