What do you think of these?

I want to write my guests' table information on sea shells, since our reception site is on the beach. What do you think of these?

Those are nice, just make sure they are the thicker sand dollars because the thin ones break really easily.

is it totally cheesy? I don't think they even look THAT MUCH like sand dollars? Anyone know where to buy sand dollars in bulk? (besides Oriental Trading). TIA!

I like the idea, it totally goes with things if your reception site is on the beach.
Plus I like the fact that it is different, I wanted something different to, and all though I am not having a Fire dept themed wedding (FH is a fireman) I am having my place settings on little fire trucks.

I think those will be adorable. Martha did something like that a while ago, she wrote on them with an ocean blue pen. It was beautiful!!!!

its so not cheesy---it would look very nice. but those sanddollars from oriental are tiny---too tiny for writing on. i ordered them for my centerpieces. not too sure where to order in bulk...maybe ebay? good luck and please send all beach related ideas my way! ~lacey

I love them! but if you want to write names on them, definitley don't go through Oriental Trading - they are crazy small!

i am doing the same thing, so obviously i love the idea, i got 100 sandollars from www.seashells.com and they are awesome, it cost me 45 dollars i think for 100 sand dollars, you can pick how big you want them... they are kind of thin, but not too thin where i think they would break, they are beautiful and came packaged wonderfully.. good luck, any help fm me.. i am using a fine tip sharpie marker to write on them
