Have you ever seen/had/heard of the flower seeds/packets OR the ones you plant the whole paper? Do you think they would be a good favor? They have a poem that says something about when you plant these seeds think of our love blooming....
I think they are a nice idea and useful- but i am not sure what others think...People i ask like it, but i dont know if they are simply agreeing to be kind...

I like it, it sounds sweet! I'm doing something similar for engagement party, I'm dipping the seeds on pinecones and give them a wire hook, as a bird feeder.

Personally, I love it, but I hesitated on this since I can't see many of our guests planting them. Either they live in the city and don't have gardens, or they just don't care for gardening. If you think the majority of guests will use them though, go for it!

Well in all honestly what do most guest do with favor any way? I mean come on, how often do people get some little nick nack at a wedding or other event that they just throw away in time. People will most likely keep the seeds, or they could just use a pot to plant it. And the poem they will also keep. I remember seeing favors at a wedding show that were cheap plastic champian (spl) glasses. Yeah they were pretty but what the heck were people going to do with them. Even with the favor with the bird seed on the pinecones, I accept that many people are just going to chuck them. But if one person hangs it up, thats just fine for me.

I was hoping people would plant them- BUT you are right, how many will- maybe I should stick to edible gifts- urrr i really liked them too
