It's hard to say without seeing your dress. I think that type of earring could probably work with any dress though. Are you wearing a necklace? You may want to coordinate with that.

They are very pretty. Are you also wearing a necklace? Have you only seen them in a picture or in person? Sometimes what appears perfect in a picture, is not what you may have in mind when you see the earrings in person. Regardless, if you have doubts you may want to keep looking. You don't want to feel like you settled later on.

Personally, I love them. I think they are very classic and timeless. They also, most likely go with any dress and you could also wear a neklace or a significant tiara with them without having 'too much' on and it distracting from you. You do have to love them though and if you don't keep looking.
