We are having a beach theme wedding (getting married at Fire Island Lighthouse and wedding at RH on the water) so we have been looking for invites and stumbled on these. What do you all think of them.
i think they are adorable for your theme!!!!! i am not so big into the normal fancy invitations either so i like those a lot!! they are unique!

I am into the normal invites. Its FH thats not. He is trying to do lots of things that our friends HAVENT done for our wedding.

ahhh gotcha.. well i have seen some invites that are more formal with a beach theme on them... maybe you 2 could compromise and do that

They send me that invite as a example (i requested) and to tell you the true I really didn't like it. I felt it was kind of small and to informal. sorry but this is MHO.

Definitely request a sample and see how you like it after seeing it in person. I really like it from the picture, but this brings up a good point!

hi liane... when i was planning on a beach theme... i really liked these invites.. but i ordered a sample from one of the sites and its very sheer so it was kinda hard to read the writing.. just something to think about. but they are very pretty

yea I know what you mean. we ordered a sample and the ink was in this lite blueish color and it was hard to read but we saw the invites in party city and the ink was dark blue (almost black) and it looked much better.

i personally love them. i love ebach themes and think they would be perfect. i like how there is XOXO written in the sand on the invites. i say go for it!
