I wanted to wear these for the Day of, my mom isn't too happy about the fact that I am wearing an ivory dress and now I refuse to wear matching ivory shoes. I think I might just get them just cause. What do you ladies think?
I LOVE THEM... I was going to wear the ones in blue but the print is a little too informal for the rest of my wedding. So, I'm going to wear some solid blue shoes!! I think colored shoes look awesome in pictures! Did you tell your mother they would only show when you lifted up your dress, not during the ceremony or anything like that?

Thanks, I don't know if its the print throwing her off or just the fact that they aren't ivory. Either way I will be getting my way on this one.

She doesn't seem to care that on one will ever see my shoes until the garter toss or if I take pics of them. She saw the matching flower girl dress and nearly died, but I think I will continue to look for a solid print flower girl dress cause it might be too much of a print for my bridal party.

I love them!! You should soo go for it!! I am doing the same thing only my shoes are going to be tiffany blue. I might even go so far and wear a tiffany blue slip under my dress. I am going to have my photographer do a B/w with a color accent on my shoes. That is something that you could do and would look awesome in orange!

I told my mom that I wanted to wear leopard print shoes and she cringed. I think its just moms in general because its a new thing for brides to wear different colored shoes. I say go for it!

Re: What do you think of these shoes?
JMO, I like classy and elegant for a wedding, but if you really want them, I would wear ivory shoes to the church and for pictures. Then, change into the orange shoes for the reception. This could be a compromise for you and mom.
I know you won't be able to see them, but walking down the aisle, sometimes you can get a glimpse of a shoe, especially if it's a bright color.

I was at Davids Bridal yesterday and saw them. They are even better in person. It's a pretty shoe and something you can wear more than once. Will also look great in pictures!
