I was thinking of getting them each a necklace from Tiffany's and then a purse to use the day of the wedding...is that good gifts??
ETA: Their dresses are dark purple...should i go with a silver purse or a black purse???

lol....if the bags and the tiffanys necklaces are too much money then i may get the necklaces from Swarovski because they are usually under $100 and tiffanys for a silver necklace is like $125-$150. But i have to see how much the evening bags are!

I think that would be a very generous gift.
I am doing pashminas (Feb wedding) and necklaces my sister made (real pearls and sterling silver) and mini photo albums.

I think the Tiffany necklace idea is great and just enough.. I don't think it's neccesary to get anything else with it since TIffanys will definetly be over 100

Thats what i have to decide...if i wind up finding a cute evening bag, then im going to get them swarovski necklaces. Also, I told them to wear whatever shoes they want.

I like the idea...my suggestion is: blk purses/clutch that way they can use them again and with your wedding being in October the holidays will be coming. I LOVE the necklace idea and again I would do more of an everyday casual necklance so they can wear it again. Here are some suggestions
