So, I visited with a florist today and I was quoted 2100 for the following:
* church bows for 10 pews * 2 sets of flowers for the altar * 10 centerpieces (with 3 dozen flowers of my choosing) * 2 boks (bride & MOH) * boutonnieres for groom and best man * corsages and boutonnieres for all the parents
No rental fee for the stands. They'll also decorate my cake for me, too.
What do you all think? Any advice?

That sounds pretty decent, but are you sure they will include ANY flower that you like? Do a search of particular flowers you like and make sure those are included in that price.

It's a price fixed quote, and the florist was clear on 'whether it's 3 dozen roses or 3 dozen calla lilles or a mix, etc it's included.'
I'll be sure to get it in writing if we book!

It's decent, but I think you can do better. I'd shop around or try and talk this florist down.
ETA: I just actually reread your post and you can definitely do better!!

Re: What Do you Think of this Floral Quote?
Thanks girls! We have an appointment with another florist on Saturday, and then we'll do an apples to apples comparison and go from there.
Every time i walk into a wedding vendor I feel like I'm walking into a used car salesman or lets make a deal! It's so nerve wracking, I'm not used to negotiating...
Any tips?

I would discuss with the florist what you budget is. Explain to them if you are paying for most of it and all taht, and see if they can work something out. Some places will knock it down or add free things, even arragne some type of payment plan to make it easier. I'm still shopping for a florist... I got quoted for ALOT more for almost 3000...and that's just waaay out of my budget just on flowers. Soo.. I'll have to figure something out! None the less, you have a loong time to plan, so don't rush it! Take your time to find 'the one'... Good luck!

I agree 100% its like they are all trying to rip me off. Out of all the ones I have meet with there has been maybe 1 that was genuinely a nice guy and helpful. Many tried to put pressure on me that might date might not be availble for long.... or that MC might be taken if you wait to book.... etc. Its really ridiculous... it pisses me off!!!!
