I really like it, but I know a lot of people HATE heart jewelery...I would feel it out first!

I have it, I love it. The only thing that would make me feel weird is that I usually think of getting 'heart' jewelry from a significant other, not a girl friend. But that's just me being weird

I actually HATE hearts...but I own 3 pieces of heart jewelry from Tiffany & Co. The necklace shown (Elsa Peretti's Open Heart) in medium and large (on a fabulous 30' chain!) and Paloma Picasso's Loving Heart ring...so, my vote was 'yes!'...that's a very generous and beautiful gift!

I am not fond of heart jewelry either but while FH was stalling, in lieu of an engagement ring, I got pretty much every silver heart piece of jewelry Tiffany makes. I wore that necklace for a while b/c he gave it to me and it was the first piece of jewelry he gave me, but I would not have worn it if anyone else gave it to me.

I'm not a fan of heart jewerly either but when I saw this I thought it was nice, and I who doesn't love Tiffany.

Ditto. and like another poster said Who doesnt love Tiffany's? I'd be happy with a paperweight from there, b/c after all, it IS 'timeless'
(thats what i tell DH anyway )

I personally do not like hearts-- and this particular design has been around for ages, meaning a lot of people have them already-- I would recco doing the initial necklaces which are probably the same price. They are abstract looking- but would still be personalized for each girl.
