What do you think of this idea for one of FH's gifts?

What do you think of this idea for one of FH's gifts?

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get him a nice personalized gift for x-mas. I wanted something sentimental that signified our last Christmas as an unmarried couple. I decided on a pretty silver frame from Pottery Barn engraved with his (and my almost) last name!!! I thought that would touch him a lot because we have an ongoing joke about what he would think if I don't change my last name!!

That is very beautiful, but I personally wouldn't do that because to me it's like a jinx.. bad luck..

Ditto!!!! I was always very superstious about that stuff b4 the actual wedding....never used the name, tried on the rings etc....

ETA: not to say it isn't a very thoughtful and special gift though....it really is.

OMG!!! I didn't even think about the superstitious thing!!! I hope I didn't jinx us, cause I ordered it!!! If anything maybe I'll save it for next year!! LOL!! I am pretty superstitious too!!

I am so superstitious as well.

I still need to engrave my Tiffany bracelet with my new initials because I refused to do it before the wedding.

I can imagine telling FH I got this very special thoughtful gift for his parents cause I love them so very much!!! Maybe then I'll reverse the hex and make everyone happy!!
