i love it, but i am a bit worried about if it is too complicated or not.....

i absolutely love it, the size is sort of small for a wedding invitation, but the concept makes up for it, i think.

problem is, my mother HATES HATES it.

we went into the store to order them and wound up leaving but left a deposit (the store has tons to choose from) b/c she was being such a PITA. she kept on saying to the saleslady, but it isnt traditional. and the saleslady says, but it is different and it represents the bride. and she said but most of th guests are traditional. so then the lady says but it is her wedding....

i wanted to cry right there. my mom has been giving me grief about the invitations since january. everyone i pick out she hates and says no. i dont get this at all. i know she is paying for them, and i have tried over and over again to find something new. if you only knew how many of those books i have looked at.....

i think i am just going to turn around and pay for them, then she cant really say anything about them.

I like them a lot too! I love the pocket and the size! Very different and unique and I would be excited if I received an invite like that.

I know she's paying but it is your wedding and you should be the one who's happy and pleased. Tell her to have a day after brunch and she can pick her own invites!
