FH received an STD in the mail yesterday from his cousin whom is getting married in August 06. It was addressed to him and me.
Now we sent out our STDs but we only sent one to his cousin's parents. (FH is not that close to his cousin like he was when they were younger) To make a long story short before I met FH I hung out with his cousin (the one that is getting married) it was nothing really serious. But sometimes FH brings it up every so often to be a PITA.
Now I think we should invite him and his fiance to our wedding since we will be invited to their wedding. Right??
Now, do you think we should send them an STD or just send them an invite when the time comes??

JUst send them an invite. I onyl sent save the dates to the people that it was important for us to be there.

I agree...it would also look fishy since his parents got one a while ago & they were just getting theirs after you received theirs.

I would just send the invite. You would assume that the parents would have told their son about the wedding. They are probably wondering why they didn't get one. Next time I spoke to him I would just ask if he got word from his parents about the wedding very casually. I am kind of sneaky like that.

I would just send an invite I think it would a little wierd that the parents got an STD a while ago and they are just getting one now. I would be insulted and think well they weren't going to invite us but they feel obligated now that we are inviting them

I did the same thing with my STD's. I would just send them and invite.
