I like the title, but I'm not sure if I like some of the words. Or is this song more for a Bride and Groom? What do you think? Thanks.

I think you can interpret the words however you'd like to, even if it was used romantically in the movie ....
if you read the lyrics over its actually VERY fitting of a close father/daughter relationship
Nice choice for a father/daughter dance, IMO..and original! :)

I think it's perfectly fine! I don't think your guests will be dissecting the song. Actually, I think it makes a better Father/daughter song than first dance.

My friend used it at her wedding for the Mother-son dance and I was thinking the same...FH isn't thrilled about picking a song or even dancing with his mom

i agree...its great for that. and mims...i dont know why but what you wrote really made me laugh! i guess because i know you meant it seriously, but the ape mom thing made me giggle
