What do you think of this Wedding Song

I thought that we had our wedding song picked out, but this song below really sticks in my head. I love it. However, after hearing it over and over, it kind of sounds like the guy is persuading the girl to give him another chance, when he mentions trust, etc., Just wondering what your opinions are.

i love it - probably cuz its our first song too!
i just took it as him saying she could alwyas trust him - the song really grew on me!

Honestly, yes there is an undertone of you can trust me....but I think it's in a comforting I will always be here for you way, so lets go spend our lives together
