What do you want guests to remember about your wedding?
I was thinking about my friend's wedding and how all anyone could talk about was how amazing the ceremony was. I want my guests to say the same about my wedding. The ceremony symbolizes the actual marriage, so that is the part I want to be so memorable. How about you ladies?

The two things that we've been hearing non stop about our wedding was that the ceremony was the most emotional ceremony they've ever been too.....The majority of our guests and the entire wedding party, even some of the guys, were brought to tears............
And the second thing was the reception......EVERYONE still talks about how much fun they had at the reception. Our dance floor was full all night long. It was great! We attended a family wedding two weeks ago and the guests there who attended our wedding were still talking about how much fun they had at ours......we had to giggle......

We wanted great food & a fun, relaxed atmosphere...and what we keep hearing is how much everyone loved our ceremony (DH re-proposed to me as a suprise...and then we recited our own vows..DH was crying and brought everyone to tears, even our DOC)...and how everyone loved the food...we served whole lobsters and did a clam bake...everyone also loved the tent and our relaxed dress code!
ETA: We wanted a fun first dance since we aren't the serious types...everyone loved it...we played parts of 3 songs from My Wish by Rascal Flats...to Something Stupid from the Moulan Rouge soundtrack to Honky Tonk Budonkadonk...changing our dance style with each song & DH adding a cowboy hat & jacket...you can see how much fun we had.

We want our ceremony to be meaningful and memorable - we've been together a long time and really care for each other and want our ceremony to reflect that. We're doing a lot of personal touches to highlight the importance of the ceremony.
As for the reception, I want everyone to remember an amazing day when they had the chance to reconnect with family and friends they don't get to see very often because everyone is scattered around the country. I can't wait to see everyone under one roof! I just hope I get to talk to everyone

My two favorite compliments that we keep hearing are 'this was the best wedding we've ever been to after our own' and 'I've never been to a wedding like this' !
We purposely did so many things differently because we wanted a memorable wedding and according to our guests I think we did !

I just want to wow my guests with the whole package. I want them to walk away saying they loved everything about it and I want them to remember our wedding for a long time. My family members still talk about my mom and dads wedding and they have been married 30 years. That is what I really want.

What everyone's said to us so far about our wedding was how they were struck by how happy my husband and I seemed. And I think that's the perfect thing to remember. I still get a ridiculous grin on my face when I think about that day!

I've been to some weddings where when I watched the couple's first dance I got this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach. Their body language was so awkward, and I just didn't get the 'happily ever after' vibe. (One of those couples actually got separated recently )
while I totallllllly want my guests to have the bestestest time, I also want them to walk away realizing the love that my FH and I have for each other.

Oh, that's so sad. I haven't seen a video of our first dance, and I know we really s.u.c.ked as far as the dancing part, but I remember laughing all the way through it, and all the pictures of our first dance have us smiling and laughing.

I really want everyone to come away feeling how in love FH and I are. I think the best weddings aren't about the centerpieces or the salmon...it's about the love you can actually feel from the couple. Hokey--I know.

I wanted everyone to think 2 things 1) that we look exceptionally happy-because we were and 2) that our wedding was a good party while remaining elegant and classy.

I hope everyone remembers how beautiful and intimate the ceremony is and the big cheesy smiles FH and I will probably have on our faces all day (unless of course something goes majorly wrong and I turn into Bridezilla for a brief second).
And I hope everyone remembers how much fun the reception was and is reminded by sore feet from looooots of dancing the next day

I would love for them to remember the ceremony. Fh and I met hiking, we both love the outdoors, so our ceremony will be outside on a lake surrounded by mountains, the setting is very much a part of who we are, I hope our guests are able to feel that
