Hmmm good post.

Thank you so much for the generous gift you gave us for the wedding! We look forward to using the money toward a down payment on a house....

hold up....what if you have a house already!

GREAT/ Ok lets try again.

Thank you so much for the generous gift you gave us for the wedding! We look forward to using the money toward our next home (or upgrading current home???). We understand you cannot attend and will miss you on the big day. We will be sure to send some pictures out!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous gift. We look forward to using it in our new life together. We hope that you know that while we appreciate the gift, we are sad that you will not be able to spend the day with us. You will be missed

XOXOXO

The gorgeous Gabbie and her man.

Maybe not the XO's?

If you don't want to tell them what you're using it for you could just leave tat part out, it'll still sound thankful!
