Your bridal attendant is basically by your side from the moment you arrive at your RH. They'll hold your bouquet for you when you're taking pictures, hold your dress, help you bustle your dress, help you use the bathroom (if you need someone to help with your dress), grab food & drinks for you and husband at CH, etc.


Your matire'd basically runs the entire night - he'll go over the logistics of the night with you at Cocktail Hour, show you where to walk in, where to stand during your first dance, etc. He's also in charge of making sure the kitchen/servers get the meals out to everyone. Additionally, it's generally the responsibility of the maitre'd to let you know when it's time for garter / bouquet tosses, when to cut the cake and dances with parents.

I was thinking of getting a DOC to smooth out any issues at the hall but I completely forgot that a Matre D and attendant do this for you.
