so i like to think that i usually know what is going on on these boards...but i have no idea what it means when someone types

it means 'forum mail, no message' i usually put that so people know not to click on it b/c there is no text.

in the old LIW setup...it was much different and alot of times if you had a one word answer or just a question...you would post it in the title and nothing more...LIW would put *NM* on it automatically...

I always wondered why people would post FM whatever. I think its a little pointless. who started that?

I guess its nessisary if you need the person to read te FM right away, but still its a little weird. I check my FM all the time.... but I never get any FMs
