What does 'subscribe' mean?

What does 'subscribe' mean?

At the top of a thread where you can reply, etc. there's a 'subscribe' button

I think it means if you subscribe, you will get an email every time someone replies to the thread.

Yup! There's a link in the email that is sent to you. Just click it and you are unsubscribed!
