What does the flower 'Stock' look like?

I was so hoping to find it with Jenny2penny's amazing pictures. I keep hearing of 'stock' and don't know what it looks like. Anyone?

Stock looks a little like a hydrangea only the blooms are big but it is smaller. They come in pink, white, light and dark purple. I tried to find pics for you but I couldn't. This is a basic flower carried in most florist's shops. Stop in to one of your local florist and ask to see them.
