what does this mean????

Ok this may be a super dumb question but I want to take pictures at Eisenhower park, so I went to the nassau county parks and recreation website and it said you had to apply for a permit for wedding pics. So when I clicked on the permit it had Eisenhower listed as a passive park. Does this mean that I don't have to apply for the permit? I tried calling them, but no one is there-I left a message but I was just wondering what you ladies think!

i am not sure what that means, but just wanted to let you know that we took our pics at hofstra (right near by) and it was free. we sent them a donation to the agricluture dept. afterwards as a thanks, but it was not necessary.

our pics were beautiful.. i couldnt have been happier.

You could always ask your photographer about it. They may have taken pictures at that park and know if a permit is needed or not, since you are unable to get in touch with anyone at the parks department.

ETA: I don't think it's a dumb question I have no idea what a passive park is either!

Did you need permission? Where did you take pics? I think you showed me soem of your pics a long time ago (I go to hofstra). But it's such a great idea. Hofstra is a registered arboretum and there are some beautiful places on campus!
