What effect did going off birth contol have on your body?

Just curious about what I could possibly be in for.

I finished my last pack a week ago. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've been having pretty bad headaches every day. I normally get headaches, but maybe once a week or less, but these have been pretty intense. I even sometimes wake up with the same headache from the night before Any one else?

Maybe TMI, but my labido is up a bit, so it's not all bad

I was on Yasmin and took my last pack in August, I really didnt have any effects coming off except that Aunt Flo was 2 days later and a little heavier than when I was on the pill

I was taking them for a long time due to very bad AF. When I stopped taking them, I was surprised that AF wasn't so bad anymore and much lighter.

I got pregnant.

Really NOTHING - like AT ALL.

I went off them and didn't get AF for 7 months, then got it twice in 3 weeks! . But I will say that I did get some pretty nasty headaches and was moody beyond belief for about 2 months afterward.

I don't think that my aftereffects are typical though because my doctor thinks that I am starting to go through menopause! YIKES!

I came off my BC pills last September, had AF the following 2 months (each was late by about a week or two) and then stopped getting AF completely. To this day I have no idea what, if any, effects my coming off BC pills had (I was on them for 8 years). I didn't ovulate for about 8 months, and then whammo, I find out I was PG. So I guess in the end it had no real effect.

I was only on for a very brief time but I felt SOO much better off them. I get bloated and so sick on them.

When I got off my BC for about 9 months, all of a sudden I had heavier AF visits. UGH and A LOT of cramping and bloating.

I won't get off until I have too.
